Admissions

Starting is the hardest part. We make it straightforward.

Call admissions confidentially. We listen, answer questions about fit and timing, and outline next steps without pressure.

Use the narrative below as counsel-approved admissions language at a glance. Sensitive documentation and questionnaires move to our authenticated client portal when your team invites you, not open web forms on this domain.

The admissions process

  1. A real conversation, not a sales call. Contact us by phone, chat, or form. We ask about your teen, your family, and what you have already tried. We tell you honestly whether we think we are the right fit.
  2. Clinical assessment. Our clinical director reviews your teen's situation in a structured screening. We confirm residential care is appropriate and that Teen Care Baja is the right environment.
  3. Decision and logistics. We walk you through admission, transport, what to pack, what your teen is told, and the first 48 hours.
  4. Arrival and first update. Your teen is welcomed by the clinical team. You receive your first update within 24 hours of arrival.

Cross-border logistics

Summarize how transport works, what families bring, documentation expectations, and visitation rhythms once counsel approves.

Private pay & investment

Teen Care Baja is a private-pay facility. We do not bill US insurance providers directly. Many families use HSA or FSA funds, personal financing, or out-of-pocket payment.

Contact admissions to discuss payment options before you decide.

Who Teen Care Baja is not right for: teens who need acute psychiatric hospitalization, medical detox as an immediate need, or placement driven by compliance rather than clinical need. We do not provide conversion or reparative therapy. Read our full fit criteria on the Program page.
